Malaysia consist of two land masses located at an peninsula of South East Asia (peninsular Malaysia), including states of Sarawak and Sabah on the island of Borneo. Peninsular Malaysia (West Malaysia) is located south of Thailand, while East Malaysia, stretches along the northern region of Borneo. This two Malaysia land masses are separated by the South China Sea.
Peninsular Malaysia include 11 different states, namely Perlis, Kedah, Pulau Pinang, Perak, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor, Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan. Along with the two Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. East Malaysia consist of states of Sarawak and Sabah and one Federal Territory of Labuan.
